Lisa Dianne Woods, a loving Mother, caring daughter, kind sister, and a great friend. She was the most joyful person you would ever meet. At only the age of 50, on November 23, 2013, she passed away peacefully at home under the care of her two children Kari LeeAnne Salter, 18, and Christopher William Salter, 17. In her short life, she was a graphic designer at the Savannah Morning News and Evening Press, where she worked and practically lived for 26 years before becoming terminally ill at the age of 41.
Preceeding her death, she remained strong through the loss of her daughter, Melissa Marie Salter, father, William Christopher Woods, Jr. and brother, Cy Christopher Woods.
To keep her legacy alive, she still has her two children, Kari LeeAnne and Christopher William Salter, Mother, Pauline Harper Woods and sister Deborah Woods Jarrell.
Her final expenses have been left to her two children who have set up a donation fund through Wells Fargo Bank titled Lisa Woods Memorial. Any donations are appreciated and anything helps in this time of need. It’s really easy, just make a deposit to Lisa Woods Memorial at any Wells Fargo Bank.
A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home, Hubert C. Baker Chapel Thursday at 1 pm.
