

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Claude D. LaCoste and Clyde E. Knight.
She was born in Willie, Ga., now Fort Stewart on Aug. 7, 1917, and she was the daughter of the late Troy Allen Sheppard and Nettie Evans Sheppard. Mrs. Knight was the last of eight siblings.
She is survived by a daughter, Claudette LaCoste Tyler and her husband, Tommie Tyler, two grandsons, T. Ferman Tyler (Ginger) of Bloomingdale, Ga, and Mitchell J. Tyler of Georgetown, Florida, three great grandchildren, Chelsie, Austin and Zachary Tyler. Mrs. Knight was loved and greatly respected by numerous nieces and nephews and extended family, sister-in-law, Tiny Sheppard and by all who were blessed to have been a part of her life.
Mrs. Knight retired from Union Camp Paper Company after 34 years of devoted service.
She leaves also to cherish her life loyal friend, Jannie Donaldson and two special nieces and caregivers, JoAnn Frost and Deborah Sheppard Hines.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Fairhaven Funeral Home, Hubert C. Baker Chapel.
Graveside Services: 10 a.m. Friday at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
