

Marjorie McClellan Fischer, 83, of Savannah, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 30, 2012, at Candler Hospital with her family at her bedside. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Dallas L. McClellan, Jr. and her second husband, John William Fischer, Jr. Margie was born on February 18, 1929 to the late Robert E. and Mildred Lueders Stradtman and step-daughter of the late Elizabeth Johnson Stradtman. She was a graduate of Savannah High School, Class of 1947, a homemaker and was a communicant of St. James Catholic Church. Margie is survived by a son, Patrick McClellan, of Atlanta; a daughter, Nancy M. Saucier. (John); two granddaughters, Amy S. Kelley, (Charles), of Richmond, VA and Katherine C. Saucier, of Lake Forest, IL; a special cousin, Martha Exley, of Savannah, several nieces and nephews. Visitation: 5:00 to 7:00p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, with a rosary service at 6:00p.m. at Fairhaven Funeral Home, Hubert C. Baker Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial: 11:00a.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013 at St. James Catholic Church with burial to follow in the Greenwich Section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
