

She was born in Statesboro, Ga., and was preceded in death by her parents, James W. Forbes and Pidy Lee Forbes.
She was a graduate of Jacksonville College, with an associate Degree, and she was employed by the U.S. Government at the Pentagon from 1941 – 1973, where she was a GS 11, and was Director of the Reservation , Housing , Defense and Transportation Department.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Jacksonville, Fla, a member of the Pilot Club, and the Federal Retired Employees Union.
She is survived by a great nephew, Dock B. Donaldson, Jr., (Cheryl), of Midway, Ga, and several other great nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Fairhaven Funeral Home, Hubert C. Baker Chapel.
Graveside Services: 3 p.m. Thursday at Mount Olivet United Methodist Church Cemetery at Fleming, Ga, with Rev. John Ryan, officiating.
