Elizabeth Webb Veale Ivey, 101, of Savannah, died Friday, March 16, 2012 at St. Joseph's Hospital. She was born in Atlanta, Ga., and was preceded in death by her parents, James Belton Webb and Maggie Miller Webb; her husband, James Carl Veale, and a son, Richard B. Veale. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, and was retired from the Chatham County Tag Office. She is survived by three sons, E. Olin Veale, J. Carl Veale, and John B. Ivey; a daughter, Gail Elizabeth Plaxico, several grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Memorial Services: 1 p.m. Wednesday at Immanuel Baptist Church, with Dr. Morgan Kerr and Rev.
