

He was born in Adrian, GA, and was an Electrician with International Paper Corporation. He was a member of IBEW Local # 508 for 38 years.
He was a member of the Holy Church of God, and he loved his Family and he enjoyed helping people. He never took anything in return for his help.
He loved to joke with people and make them laugh. He enjoyed horses, cars, car shows, and especially motorcycles.
He is survived by his wife, Dianna Lynn Edenfield Salter of Rincon, GA; 4 sons, Paul Salter, Andrew Salter, Matthew Salter, and Benjamin Salter all of Rincon, GA;’ a brother, Wayne Salter (Janice) of Savannah, GA; and a sister, Nada Brookshire of Braselton, GA, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 5 – 9 p.m. Friday at Fairhaven Funeral Home, Hubert C. Baker Chapel, 7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah, GA 31406.
Funeral Services: 10 a.m. Saturday at the Holy Church of God, on Little Neck Road, with Rev. Ryan Ralston, and Rev. Gary Edenfield, officiating.
Interment will follow in Effingham Memorial Gardens, in Springfield, Ga.
Mr. Salter will be taken to the church at 8:30 a.m. Saturday to lie in state.
