Robert Dennis Dennis Strickland

Robert graduated from Kokomo High School in Indiana, and attended Asbury College and Indiana University. He has served the Lord Jesus in Ministry from 1958 until his graduation to Heaven on March 25, 2012.

He is preceded in new life in Christ by his paternal grandfather Bert Strickland, paternal grandmother Stella Parks Strickland, maternal grandfather Charles Lambe, maternal grandmother Opal Houston Lambe, and father Robert Parks Strickland.

He is survived by his wife, Janet Welch Strickland, of Savannah; daughter Miriam Strickland, her husband Jorge Ralda, and their daughter Rebekah Ralda; son Josiah Strickland, his wife Judah Spradlin Strickland, and their daughter Annikah Strickland; mother Edna Naomi Lambe Strickland; brother Alan Strickland and his wife Terrill Strickland; sister Gloria Strickland Mainord and her husband John L. Mainord, many cousins, nieces, nephews and countless adopted children in the lord.

Memorial Service: 4 p.m. Saturday, March 31, 2012 in the Hubert C. Baker Chapel, 7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah, Ga 31406, with Rev. Tom Edging and Rev. Mitch Cole, officiating.
