Susie Catherine Cowart Miltiades

Catherine was born and raised in Bulloch County, GA. and attended local school and attended Draughns Business School.

She was an avid seamstress and loved to cross stitch. Catherine was a devout Christian and was a member of St. Paul’s Greek Orthodox Church where she was very active.

She is survived by two sons; Charles N. “Charlie” Miltiades and Arthur L. Miltiades; her very special granddaughter (who she raised from the age of 3), Kayla Miltiades; two sisters, Francies C. Bennett and Bennie C. Smith (Emery), several nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, July 19, 2015 in the Chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home, Hubert C. Baker Chapel, with a Trisagion Service at 6:00pm.

Funeral Service: 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 20, 2015 at St. Paul’s Greek Orthodox Church with Fr. Vasile Mihai officiating.

Burial will be in Bonaventure Cemetery in Savannah.
