
Thomas Emanuel Tommy Nease, 95, of Savannah, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family, under the care of Hospice Savannah. He was born in Savannah, GA., and was a veteran of WW II, having served in the U.S. Army. Tommy was a former member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church for many years, until they moved to Edisto Island, S.C., and then returned to Savannah, and became members of Messiah Lutheran Church at The Landings on Skidaway. He was retired from Armstrong State College, where he served as Department Head of the Food Service/Bookstore. Tommy is survived by his wife of 71 1/2 years, Ann Cribbs Nease of Savannah, GA.; a son, Thomas E. Nease, Jr., of Savannah, GA; a daughter, Janeth N. Dossett, of Edisto Island, S.C.; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Visitation: 4 - 6p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2015 at Fairhaven Funeral Home, Hubert C. Baker Chapel. Funeral Service: 11:00a.m., Thursday, Feb. 19, 2015 at Messiah Lutheran Church at the Landings of Skidaway, with Rev. Jason Talsness and Rev. Ron Hunter officiating.
