He was born on July 4, 1940, in McGregor, Georgia, the son of the late Aubrey Stephens and the late Jeanette Richardson Stephens.
He worked for many years as a self-employed dry-wall contractor in Savannah, GA.
He is survived by his wife, Delores Stephens; son, Keith (Lisa) Stephens, daughters, Tammy Larson and Teresa Stephens Dorsey. 4 grandchildren and 3 great- grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Fairhaven Funeral Home – Hubert C. Baker Chapel, Savannah. A graveside service will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Savannah.
