Albin Steve Fischer, age 98, of Scarborough, Ontario passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2023. Beloved husband of Karen. Loving and proud father of Bradley Fischer (Tammy) and Erik Fischer (Julia); loving grandfather of Jillian, Jonathan, Bryson and Aleigha.
Al enjoyed working on his many cars and spent countless hours restoring his Alfa Romeo Giulietta and Alfa Romeo GTV 1750.
Over many years, Al enjoyed daily walks in Thomson Park and Birkdale Creek Ravine. In 2014, at the age of 90, he received the Scarborough Urban Hero Award in the Environment category for picking up litter and disposing of it properly, inspiring others to keep our parks clean and take care of the environment.
No Service or visitation will be held. A private cremation has taken place. Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
