Oops missed the stone seat, it was worth a few minutes of laughing.  I'll remember that day forever.

Another hike in Jasper, Valley of the seven lakes.  I enjoyed travelling around Alberta with Mom when she came to visit.

Mom was a great sport, we enjoyed hiking in the mountains.  This is near Meitte Hot Springs.  Sulphur Mountain.

 Aunt Dolly meant a great deal to me  and it was so very hard to hear of her passing. Aunt Dolly was a good friend and I miss her dearly. I  look for comfort in the many memories of her, as well as our talks together over the years.
 I wish I could have been there however due to a scheduled scan I was unable to attend. The service looked lovely. 
 She will be forever in my heart.

Vicki and Adam,
I only met your Mom/Grandma once or twice when she came to Edmonton to visit.  But I do remember a woman with a bright smile who was easy to chat with and made you feel like she had known you for years. It's not easy to lose your Mom but your fond memories of her, her smile and laughter, the good times and special moments you shared will never fade. She will forever be with you. My heartfelt condolences go out to you my dear friend Vicki and  Adam and the extended Trombley family.

Our thoughts are with you as you gather today to celebrate the life of your mom and grandolly. 
We, too, will be remembering the twinkle in her eye and the times we shared together. Dolly was a lovely person.

Dolly/or Mrs. Trombley to me was my best friend (Vicki's) mom.  The The first thing that comes to mind is Dolly's beautiful smile and her energy which was endless.  She had the gift of the gab and it was so entertaining to hear her stories.  She was brave enough to be her authentic self and share her opinions.  I always felt welcome in her home.  When we were young, Vicki and I would spend winters in the backyard riding snowmobiles in circles and summers playing baseball and riding bicycles built for two and Dolly would just laugh and shake her head.  We spent many summers at the cottage which is where Dolly seemed the happiest.  She was a second mom to me and I watched her juggle 4 kids, volunteer and be a loving wife to Vern.  She was an inspiration who never shied away from helping others.  I will miss her but the memories will make me smile.  I believe that when you lose someone you love, you gain an angel.

Condolences to the Trombley family. Dolly was a member of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul at St. Rose of Lima. 
In addition she used to join us at the Suburban Restaurant (now Sammy's) following 7:30 am Sunday Mass, especially if Vern was off on his fall hunting trips. She  was always such a joy. May she be reunited with Vern and may she have eternal rest.

My condolences to the Trombley Family.  I remember your mother as a cheerful, caring person who always had a smile and a kind word, whether it was when I was delivering newspapers to your parents’ doorstep as a kid or later in life when visiting my parents. I am sorry for your loss.

We love Dolly and really enjoyed visiting with her during her trips out to Alberta to visit Vicki and Adam.  She was a very special friend and great company.  Sending our heartfelt sympathy to her children, and grandchildren.

Vic and Adam, Your mom Vic was a treasure, I loved her visits out west, we would take our trips to the Enjoy Centre where we would grab a bite to eat and explore  and discover all the "plants" as the three of us enjoyed each other's  company, I cherished our time together.  Absolutely loved when she came to watch and cheer on Travis as he played at Nationals in Oshawa, Adam your grandma Dolly was a wonderful lady, she made you laugh. smile and will be forever in your heart.  She now has her angel wings and is watching over you both.  Take care of each other.  So blessed to know such a special lady, I see her wonderful influence in both of you. Dolly & I, along with Roberta & Lorna, started public school together more than 80 years ago.  Then there were 8 of us, The Bradford Babes,  friends for all these years since.  I used to sit with her aunt, Grandmother, & Dolly at their front door watching the cars  go by on that very quiet street. We’d make fudge, my mother’s recipe, on their kitchen wood stove; so good. She worked at Mr Bracken’s drug store & was literally as close to a daughter to Mrs. & Mr. B.  Dolly was a first class student: the Brackens offered to send her to university (she certainly had the marks) but she declined.  It is an honour to have been friends for all these years.  Miss you. Our deepest condolences on the passing of Dolly. We are long time cottage neighbour's of the Trombley's on Pencil Lake. We enjoyed many chats with Dolly over the years and she was always warm and friendly. She was a very down-to-earth individual and always had a smile on her face.  Our thoughts and prayers are with the Trombley family at the difficult time.

We lived next door to Vern & Dolly since 1960, better neighbours you couldn't have asked for. My husband made a skating rink every winter & rigged up a light. All the neighbourhood boys would play after school & in the evening. When our boys lost interest in hockey, we passed the light over to Vern for his boys. 
My sincere condolences to the family. She will be sorely missed.
