early morning of November 8th 2020 at the age of 89.
Douglas is predeceased by his parents Charles Menlo Scott and Isabella Jane Scott (Shewan) who emigrated from Scotland. Survived by his sister Sheila Maki
(Scott) of Toronto and predeceased by his two big brothers Malcolm Scott
and Robert Scott. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews,
and grand- and great-grand nieces and nephews.
Lovingly cared for by the staff at the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul for 36 years, Douglas will be missed. We thank them for their service, care, love and laughter given to Douglas over these many years.
When Doug was cheerful he always had something to say. He loved to dance and enjoyed finding the pretty girls to dance with. He attended day programs at Reena and Surex for many years.
