I was saddened to just learn of Glendon's passing. He was a kind, good man.  I mostly knew him professionally, first,  way back as colleagues at Durham College, and later he became my wife's and my helpful financial advisor.  But I knew he wasn't just defined by work stuff:  It was great, for example, when he once arranged for a cultural exchange with a group of, I think it was, teachers from China.  We got to share some meals with them and see their wonderful performance of music and dance from their culture.  My wife and I send our condolences to Glendon's family

My memories of Mickey (Glendon) will be etched in my mind forever. I will fondly remember our friendship, our high school years, his passion for religion, and his ability to make intellectual arguments to support his perspective on any political issue of the day in Grenada.   

In Canada, he continued his childhood traits, and added “Work Life Balance Crusader”, “Environment Evangelist” and “Missionary” to the list. I am so happy to have known and admired Mickey for his positive outlook on life and people.

Mickey, as he was fondly called, always had a warm smile and encouraging words.  He vividly remembered childhood stories where we grew up in Hermitage.
