Uncle Irus, known as John in Canada always brings back loving memories for me as I spent my early teenage years with such a loving and caring family where I was looked after with so much care and love. 
Irus has left two lovely sons Richard and Peter who are now continuing his family name and long may it continue.

Dad was an absolutely wonderful and loving father to Richard and me. I could not imagine a better one. He was also a wonderful grandfather to John, James and Lusin. Memories of so much fun with the boys on weeks at the cottage together will last a lifetime. Dad was thrilled when Lusin came into our life and would often remark what a wonderful girl she is.

Always with a sweet smile on his face, Dad was an easy-going, happy person, who always loved a good conversation and great jokes. He was honest to the nth degree. He was a romantic; 55 happy years with Mom was filled with love and dedication.  Since Mom passed away 9 years ago, Dad visited her grave daily until he couldn’t drive anymore. They will now be reunited in heaven. May God bless both of them as they rest together in loving peace forever. 
 
Mom and Dad’s marriage was not only loving but also spiritual. They never missed church on Sundays and, after Mom passed, Dad continued attending weekly until he was beset with physical ailments. I am extremely happy that Father Edwin could preside over his funeral. Thank you, Father Edwin for coming on short notice. My father spoke very highly of you and would have wanted you to be at his funeral service.
 
Dad taught me many good values, but most importantly the handyman skills that I have! He loved his many tools and often bought me useful tools as cherished presents.
 
When Mom passed away and Richard moved back in with Dad, the two of them became the best of friends, almost inseparable. Richard did a fantastic job caring for Dad, and in turn, Dad showed a huge amount of affection to Richard and spoke highly of him. Thank you, Richard for your selfless work and support.
 
Poor Dad survived prostate cancer and a massive stroke recently, but lost out to COVID-19.  In addition to illness, he had to endure the pain of isolation in his last two months of life and could not see his family. You will be sadly missed by all of us.
