Dear Auntie Jean,
I know that you are with Uncle Noel again now, smiling and at peace. I want to thank you for all that you did to welcome my Mom and Dad to Canada and treat them like part of the family. My Mom has always described such deep gratitude for having you in her life and I know that the life I have today is connected to the support that you offered them so early on. I have warm memories of Christmas visits, playing the piano in your dining room, and drinking coke from a glass with ice (such a treat!). Of course, Uncle Noel giving the finger to anyone who would listen was always a good giggle. The last few times I saw you, I got to see you through adult eyes and saw all the warmth and spirit that my parents have always described. The incredible family that you created is the result of who you are and all that you did in this lifetime. Thank you for including the Dalrymples as part of your family. While we may not have seen each other as often as we should have, you played a big role in our family and were so loved.

Grannie, you were such a kind, loving, generous soul with just the right amount of spunk and sass to keep it all fun. I have always felt truly blessed to share a part of your life. I have felt your love through the good times and the tough times. For us, this is a difficult time because the joy you brought into our lives is gone, for now. However, we can also rejoice, for you, because it is the time that you have been desperately waiting for, you get to be with your soulmate once again, wrapped in his loving arms. Your new chapter has begun. We love you so much.

I was lucky enough to have Auntie Jean as my Godmother, and in my every memory of her, she is smiling. I think it's likely that it's because nothing could bring her more joy than seeing her family and friends gathered together, enjoying each other's company.
So while I can't be part of the gathering for her celebration of life, I'm thinking of her from afar, and of you all - dressed in your bright colours as, of course, she requested. I'll pour a wee rye and ginger and raise it up to where she and Uncle Noel will be looking on and smiling. I'll drink to Auntie Jean, to togetherness, and to the good times.

May the road rise to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face.
May the rains fall upon your fields.

Barbara, I’m so sorry to hear about your mom’s passing. I know what a huge loss it is. I hope you can take some comfort in knowing you were a wonderful daughter and friend to her. No regrets. After all these years when I picture Jean I can still hear her great laugh. It’s such a good memory. I know you must have so many great memories of her to call on when you need them. It helps. And it’s not goodbye forever - just for now. I like to think she’s gone on to her next adventure, as we all will, free from the burden and pain of this life. Somewhere her soul is waiting for you and what a reunion it will be! Safe travels, Jean. It was an honour to know you.

I don't remember our first meeting - it must have been when Amanda and Jamie were in Kindergarten!  So we go back a long way.

You have been such a wonderful friend, and the best  co-worker and ally.  I always had so much fun with you - as friends, as lunch room supervisors, on class trips, going to Winfields for dinner.  There are so many good memories.

It was an absolute privlege to know you.

You are such a kind and sweet lady and I will always remember you and Mrs Hubert as our lunch ladies at Three Valleys. Hello O'Sullivan Family. We are so very sorry to hear about Jeanne. We know you are a very close family and this must be an extremely difficult time. We share our thoughts and prayers with you all. Jeanne...at Edgewater Beach, you were Noel's straight man/women for all his bad jokes...he told a few doozies! We loved being at the trailer with you and the whole family all summer!!! They were great years and we still reflect on them often!  You are the Matriarch of the Family and always will be! We often look back at our Wedding pictures and smile because you and the whole family were there to help us share a very special time! You will be missed but NEVER forgotten, as your feisty (Rob says Stubborn, Good Natured)  spirit will live on through everyone! Our Love, Rob and Laurie.

My beautiful trailer neighbour, thank you for welcoming me on the block, I’m going to miss seeing you sitting in your chair , that hand popping up waving and always saying hello, your smile and your laugh , your stories of you growing up was my favourites, your kindness meant the world to me. Jean, we have never met in person but I have had the pleasure of watching you and your beautiful family share such wonderful times through the magic that is facebook. I am hopeful that your final days are spent with this same wonderful legacy you have created and know that the void you leave will be a tremendous one. Ms. Parker. I would like to say you are a loved woman. Your granddaughter Amanda adored you and talked about you all the time when we use to work together. From our conversations, I know you have left a mark of love with her, and the family. You lived a full life and I am sure, enjoyed all this world had to offer. You lived a life to see the desires of your heart.

As I am writing this, my heart is heavy. When I seen Amanda's facebook page about  your state here on earth,  I was sadden, but remembered  there is hope. A hope that you could live a better life, a painless life, a life with peace and no suffering, a life of total joy and prosperity, a life given to us by God through his son Jesus Christ.  I write to say; that Jesus loves you very much, grandma parker, that he died on the cross that your sins may be forgiven, and the opportunity to live with him in total peace. We all haved sinned and had shortcomings but we can be free from them by Jesus Christ, by asking for his forgiveness and asking for him to come into our heart. It is not to late! God's love will meet you, Infact it is meeting you right now, and what a joy it would be for God to hold his beloved and say welcome.   And what a joy that it will bring to your family; that you are safe in His arms. May this note fill your heart with great hope and promise. Love  Letoia

I’m so sorry to hear about your Mum passing away.  May you and Charles and Barbara and all the family experience the peace and comfort of God in your sadness.  I will always remember your Mum and Dad’s kind hospitality when we visited Toronto many years ago.   The photographs online are a wonderful legacy of family love.

Dearest Gigi, I didn’t have the pleasure of attending Three Valleys and having the best lunch monitor around, but I did have the pleasure of becoming great friends with Ryan, Amanda and Jessica. I would hear them talk about you and share stories about you and felt like I knew you. Through them, I became closer with the O’Sullivan family and finally had the great honor to meet you and hear some of those stories first hand. You are an incredible soul, your wit and humour are so greatly appreciated and I wanted to say how much I love you. You will be at peace soon and reunited with Papa; enjoy the Whiskey up there and give your love a big kiss he’s been waiting for- love you always Gigi.

All of my memories from elementary school include you Mrs. Parker. You always made sure I made up with my friends when conflict arose at recess. I find in adulthood conflict bothers me and I find a way to resolve things as soon as possible or move on from it in some way. I like to think that I got that from you! You were always such a kind, caring and funny (yes funny!) Supervisor and Three Valleys would not have been the same without you. You have created one of the best families I know, in Ryan, Amanda and Jessica, as well as their parents, you have instilled your beliefs, humor and kind nature. I am thankful to have known and loved you. Your time on this earth may be coming to an end, but we will all remember you for as ong as we are earth side. Rest in peace Mrs. Parker. I know your husband is waiting for you. Love you. ❤️ 

Oh Gigi.....it breaks our hearts to hear you're not well. Memories of you instantly take us back to what was once a favourite place for all of us. Although are time actually spent together was brief, it was impactful. Your spunk was delightful and you and Randy chirping at each other is a memory we hold dearly. You were always so sweet to me when you guys would come in for your family shopping day! I hope these days are filled with love and rest! 

I am sorry that I am saying goodbye to you. As much as I am saddened and heartbroken, I am thankful that I got to see you and hug you and joke around with you this summer. 

I am so happy that you’ve kept your spark and spunk and that you are at peace. Your legacy will continue. 

Not having a grandparent in Canada growing up, thank you for all the days you’ve made brighter. I am grateful to see your wittiness, humour and love for your family because it reminded me of my own grandmother. 

I wish we could have more time together but I want you to know I cherished every time we have had. I’ve been beyond lucky to know you. Thank you for being such a huge part of my best friend’s life and shaping to the person she is. I am lucky to have her in this life. 

I am you are not worried about anyone right now. This really sucks for us but I take solace in the fact that you will be with Noel and you’ll both be looking down on us idiots cracking jokes. 

I hope you feel how much love this world have for you. I love you and I will miss you dearly. 

Jean- You are a treasure. You have been there for your whole family and are so well loved. What a wonderful wife you were to the lovely Noel. I know first hand what great mother you are to your girls and also the most amazing grandmother. May God hold you in the palm of his hand ☘️

This woman was like a mother to me when I needed one......a trusted friend for over 50 years.  Our growing families blended over the years so that now her family is our family and I know we will keep that connection going forever.  She was funny, feisty and loyal, and though I miss her, I am happy she is back with Noel.....it is where she was waiting to be.

Mrs. Parker can be remembered for the kindness she showed to many of the children at Three Valleys School. This special woman provided happy memories.

I met Gramma Parker at our trailer park Red Eagle. She welcomed us to the bingo table and we loved to chirp each other when the other won. It has been a tremendous and delight to meet J.P . Many years or brief cherished moments. Very Angelic force of nature gives us insight. People love ones a precious thing. I remember dear Jean with love, and great memories.
She was a lovely lady and a wonderful friend to Stan and I.
One funny memory was the day Stan died, 18 years ago, and I was parked(illegally) on the road outside our houses and the Parking Enforcement officer was about to write a ticket. Jean went charging out at him, shouting how that woman's husband had just died and don't he dare issue a ticket. She must have put the fear of god or the Irish into him because he didn't.  I rememberJean and Barbara always looking after our various cats when we were away and also Jean sometimes going into our home to make sure Stan had turned off the stove before going out.
