Joan Carol Teixeira

She was the daughter of the late Albert Julius and Kathleen Delores Teixeira. She is survived by her sister Anne-Marie, her brother Richard, her sister-in-law Maryke, her brother-in-law Nenad, nephews Stefan and Nikola, and a number of cousins and close friends. The family also remembers with love her late nephew, Kristopher.

Joan shared her musical gifts for many years at St. Lawrence the Martyr Parish. She will be remembered for her faith, her music, and her enduring connection to her parish community.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday April 07, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Lawrence the Martyr Catholic Church, Scarborough.

Interment of cremated remains will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. A reception will follow at Paul O’Connor Funeral Home.
