Karen and Alison were such beautiful people who radiated kindness wherever they went. I remember always seeing them light up around my children at church.  I am grateful for the love they always showed me whether it was attending special events or sending emails to check in after difficult times. They were both beautiful and inspiring women who will be deeply missed. Sending love to Will, Keesie and Keegan. 

Karen was one of the bravest women that we know. She has battled in her life through many adversaries. I knew Karen for all of her 67 years. As a child she was constantly battling with her brother Larry, as well as my brother Blair, and myself..... She was quick and I mean fast, as she had to outrun all three of us..... and she did.
We lived together as "brother and sister" for an entire year when my Aunt Allison was in hospital.
In later years Karen battled illness that could have taken her quickly but Karen did not have the word quit in her vocabulary.
You can now rest Karen as the battle is over.... Rest in Peace

I will miss listening to Karen  and her hilarious stories about Will.
How we laughed  every time we  were together.
I admire her  strength and courage through the tough times of her illness.
I wish her eternal peace.

Karen's beloved mother passed away 2 days before Karen.  She was a hard-working  member of Wexford Presbyterian Church.  Caring for Florence Milne who passed away in February of this year.  She will be remembered for her delicious squares.  Karen herself was  a sweet loving and caring soul.  Both women will be up in heaven where Jesus met them and said " Well done good and faithful servants.  They will be really missed .  

You will be missed by all who knew you. We have many fond memories of our times with you and Will.

Karen was a dear soul who shared our love of the Lord.  
We attended church together and hung out in Port Perry at our trailers.  We would go on date nights and beach walks together with her and Will...we shared wonderful memories and will miss her very much.
Catch our hugs sweet friend as you shine on. ✨️ 

Karen and I have been friends for many years. We have share so much. Our happy times, sad times, love of our children, our faith.
We emailed everyday and phoned if we were unable to email. We spent hours talking about our inner feelings, our joy in our children and our worries. She was my strong, loving  little sister. I will miss you little sis. I’ll miss our closeness, your warmth and my best friend.

This message is for you which I believe you can read from Heaven .

     I will miss our road trips , our adventures , our vacations south and abroad , our date nights , our summers at the trailer on Scugog Island , our Saturday morning breakfasts at Valleyfield's in the "Penalty Box"  and with family and friends , there , and other locations . I will miss taking you shopping while I sat in the car stewing about how long you took lol . But you always rewarded me with my choice of restaurants and movies (as long as it was a chick flick LOL not always) .
       I will miss hugging You ( everyone knows I am not a big hugger) and holding your hand(s) while walking , driving , or just lying in bed watching Fornication Street( Coronation Street ), Victor Newman(Y&R) or binge watching Netflix .
      You brought so much purpose and happiness into my life . I'm so sad that you are gone but so happy to have had you in my  life . You always had a smile on your face making it hard for people to believe you were in so much pain . Your pain is over now .
         I know this will sound silly to others but I believe you are in Heaven now enjoying your favorite past time.......SHOPPING ! Enjoy !
