Lorraine Marie Patterson

Lorraine was born on July 7th, 1926 in Toronto. Treasured by her parents, the late Arthur James Jordan and the late Ada Elizabeth Jordan. Lorraine grew up in the Riverdale area of Toronto at various locations. In her younger years, she went to Withrow Public School and Riverale High School. Lorraine did clerical work at different downtown Toronto offices; she was a proud employee of The Hudson's Bay Company where she worked in the Drapery Department for more than twenty years. Lorraine volunteered at the Wexford Retirement Home where she worked in the Tuck Shop for more than ten years. Lorraine, beloved wife of the late L. Edward Patterson. They were parishioners of Zion Wexford United Church since 1955. Loving mother of Susan and Gary. Nanny will be fondly remembered by son-in-law Andy, grandsons Trevor (Tanya) and Ian (Courtney), and great-grandchildren Mackenzie and Jack. Lorraine will be missed by all family members and some wonderful friends, Wyn Martin from Public High School, Margot Flynn from business school, Janet Munro, Helga Milani from Hudson's Bay, and Jean Milne.

A visitation for Lorraine was held Tuesday, December 20, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Paul O’Connor Funeral Home. A chapel service followed at 11:00 AM, with burial at Pine Hills Cemetery,
