Margaret Flavell

FLAVELL, Margaret - Passed away peacefully at Maple Grove Care Community in Brampton on Friday, July 28, 2023 at the age of 98. Margaret was born in Walsall, England to Mary "Minnie" and Thomas O'Sullivan in 1925. She immigrated in 1926 and grew up in the Beaches area. She married the love of her life in 1951 and raised their only son in Scarborough, where she lived in the same house for 57 years. In 2011 she moved to Brampton. She was the beloved wife of the late Bud Flavell (1978). Loving mother of Alan (Barb). Grandma will be fondly remembered by Steve (Anne-Marie) and Alicia (Mark) and great-grandson’s Aidan, Cohen and Keaton. Dear sister of the late Maureen (Ken) Cope and the late Ted (Terry) O'Sullivan. Margaret will be sadly missed by all family members and many friends. Visitation at Paul O’Connor Funeral Home; 1939 Lawrence Ave. E. from 10 am on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 until the time of the Service in our Chapel at 11:30 am. Interment at Highland Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
