Mary Catherine Murray

Love is the anchor of a well-lived life and Mary Catherine Murray lived to the fullest. Passing on May 21, 2026 at the age of 97, Cathy (or Kay) was a warm friend, a supportive mother, and a devoted wife to Gerald (Gerry) Murray for over 50 years. In Toronto all her life, she had an outstanding career of 25 years at Mercury Marine. Cathy loved to travel, enjoyed her weekly games of bridge and the movies.

Predeceased by her brother Jack and husband Gerry, Cathy is survived by her children: Paul (Helen) and Anne; her grandchildren: Gerald, Christopher, Jessica, Tyler, Samantha, Connor, and Jared; her great-grandchildren: Joshua, Emma, Xavier, Maverick, Zayden, and James; and the many friends who called her family. Cathy leaves behind a legacy of love that will not be forgotten.

A Memorial Visitation will be held at Paul O'Connor Funeral Home, 1939 Lawrence Ave. E, Scarborough, ON, M1R2Y8, CA, on June 5, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by a Memorial Service at the same location on June 5, 2026, from 11:00 am to 11:30 am.

Burial Of Cremated Remains will take place at Mount Hope Catholic Cemetery, 305 Erskine Ave, Toronto, ON, M4P 1Z7, CA, on June 5, 2026, from 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm.
