It is with great sadness that the family of Rocchina Ciccarelli (nee Morra), age 89, announce her peaceful passing on the morning of Friday October 8, 2021, at Houses of Providence. Rocchina was born on March 5, 1932, in Monteleone Di Puglia, Italy and immigrated to Toronto in 1955 where she resided until her passing. She was a beloved wife of the late Rocco Ciccarelli, a loving mother of Carmela (Patrick), Lorraine (David) and the late Antonio (Maria). A Cherished Nonna of Elizabeth (Glenford), Julianna, James and Cameron and to the sparkle of her eyes, great grandson, Augusto. She is the dear daughter of the late Cirico Morra and Raffaela Liscio. A loving sister of the late Padre Michele Morra, the late Grazia (Paulo) and the late Antonio. An everlasting bond of friendship is held with sister-in-laws Nuccia and Gina and a cherished sister-in-law of the late Giuseppe and Attilio of Canada and the late Ciriaco, (Giuseppina) and Angelo (Rosenella) of Italy. She is remembered by many loved nieces and nephews in Canada, Italy and Argentina. A very special thank you to Fe Alarcon, her caregiver for over 15 years. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Doctors and staff at Cardinal Ambrozic Houses of Providence for their love and dedication to the care of Rocchina and ask that any donations be made to the Houses of Providence. My deepest condolences to the Ciccarelli family. I will always remember our visits with Commare. Some of my favourite childhood memories of her are in her basement with our families visiting Tony dressed up as Santa Claus. Also walking next door to sit and chat with her on her porch over the years. She was a wonderful neighbour and friend to my Nonna and will be missed.❤

Dear Carmela and Lorraine...our deepest sympathy on the passing our your lovely Mother, Rocchina. I remember many years of going to your houses visiting your Mom and Dad and the rest of the family. There were many happy times. They use to give me wine with gingerale in it because it was so strong...May your many beautiful memories of your Mom keep her in your heart always.
