Quetita querida, Fito, Claudia y Eduardo,

Raulito todavía no existía.

Querida Hermanita, Fito, Claudia and Eduardo: Allen and I will miss your dad immensely.

Rodolfo was the most gifted improvising Home Repair Projects. Queta and Rodo will come for the winter

to our home in Florida and a list of projects were waiting for them.; These kept him busy during winter times

One of the fun projects were to hang pictures in our New Home, which are many as you all know, Rodo hang

these with a precision of an ENGINEER WHICH HE WAS. He was also an INTELLECTUAL and loved World

News, specially news from our beloved PERU. Rodolfo enjoyed the winter with us because Mercedes and

Bob will join us in the winter as well. Rodolfo, Bob and Allen will get into heated discussions and we the girls

watch the match. The six of us ended the day graciously having dinner conversations of more civil matters:

Politics and Religion were not allowed, that is when Rodolfo shined because he can talk about any topic. I

know Rodolfo and our departed beloved are watching after us.

My uncle was truly one of a kind... he was always warm and he always tried to make me smile with one of his jokes...I remember his sense of humour fondly. He was also a very smart man! We will miss you Tio!!!
Death is always hardest for the ones left behind. It is our memories that keep us connected to loved ones always. It is those memories that should be cherished. Death also reminds us how important our loved ones are to us and how we should remind them of that while we still can.

Dear Queta & Family,

So sorry to hear of Rodolfo's passing. We have very fond memories of you visiting us in North Vancouver, and I have many happy memories of parties attended by you and Rodolfo, at Bob & Meche's parties. Queta thank you for your kindness to my granddaughter, Kaylyn, when she needed help on her phone device, way back in 2012. You knew how to fix it, but I didn't. You were very patient with her and it was a great kindness. I won't forget it.

Lorna and Pat, and Dave and I send our love and hope that you will be alright going forward, with the help of your family and friends. Know that you are loved.

With our sympathy,
Marion & Dave Humphreys and Lorna and Pat Murphy

Mr. Candela was not just Claudia's father to me, he was a kindred soul, a kind man, a man who lit up every time I met him. His kind heart was his most precious quality. Rumi once said "The very center of your heart is where life begins - the most beautiful place on earth." This quote exemplifies our beloved Mr. Candela. I will miss him and his smile. I will miss hearing about him from Claudia. I will miss him like I miss my father who passed away two years ago. "Indeed we belong to God, and indeed to Him we will return." (Quran 2:156). May you rest in peace!
