Sarah Smith

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our dear mother Sarah Smith on December 16th 2024. Sarah was a loving mother to her children, Elaine, Trevor, Jean, Clifton, Antonio, Uriel, Karleen and Diana. She will be fondly remembered by her 24 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Sarah treasured three things in life: her family, gardening and God. She will be sorely missed.

A visitation will be held on Monday January 13th 2025 from 2:00 pm to 4:00pm and 6:00 pm to 9pm at the Paul O’Connor Funeral Home 1939 Lawrence Ave East Scarborough ON M1R 2Y8

The funeral service will take place on Tuesday January 14th 2025, 11am at the Wexford Presbyterian Church located at 7 Elinor Ave Scarborough ON M1R 2Y7 (across the street from the funeral home) A short visitation will be held from 10 am to 10:45 am prior to the service.

Sarah will be laid to rest at St. Margaret Cemetery, 4130 Lawrence Ave, East Scarborough ON M1E 2R8

Friends and family are invited to the reception at the Wexford Presbyterian Church following the Internment.

Light refreshments will be served following the service for guests who will not be attending the burial.

We will be webcasting the service for those who wish to attend but cannot be there in person. The link will follow closer to the date.
