Sig was a fabulous friend, bigger than life.   One of those few people who you immediate like and trust.   In the army we had an expression that said it all ... if you REALLY liked just about everything about a person and trusted them with everything including your life, you would say that "I would go to war with him/her".     Absolutely no doubt that I would have been proud to go to war with Sig.  He will be missed by everyone whose lives he touched.

We have known Siggy for many years ,after growing up in Don Mills together. Always a big friendly guy with a big smile. Fond memories of Sig at the donut shop, then later at the Fools golf tournament and Bond park for baseball games. Always liked to have fun. He will be missed.

We send our heartfelt love and condolences to Linda, Ryan and the extended family at this very sad time. 

We were neighbours on Langbourne Place, and in the early ‘80s when Linda and Siegi moved in just 2 doors away, a lifelong friendship began. Even though we retired to St. Catharines in 2014 we have maintained close ties to Don Mills.

Siegi was a kind hearted generous person who wielded the BBQ masterfully at the Isle of Langbourne annual June picnics. We also benefited over the decades through his plumbing connections in renovating many bathrooms. We are deeply sorry at his passing. His quick wit and sense of humour will be sorely missed.

I knew Siggy aka the bear since he drove his red impala convertible to Don Mills High school in the sixty's. We were roommates twice and shared many, many experiences together. We were born within the same week in 1948. We enjoyed many turkey lunches at his parents house on Moccasin Trail. I left for California in 1978. I will never forget all the times and situations we shared, May God Bless him. I will always remember the good times we shared. My condolences to Linda  and all of his relatives John Dow.

Sig was my sales rep. for many years when I was in the plumbing industry. We became good friends and many a great time was had. He was one of the few who did not laugh at me on the golf course.        RIP my friend 

I knew Sig for 60 years and you could have no better friend.  I and other longtime friends from Don Mills will miss Sig’s presence at the annual  April birthday get-to-together.  RIP Sig.

I was shocked to hear about Sig's death. He was a great Boss and well known good Salesman in GTA Plumbing Industry.  

Sig was one of a kind, he had a heart of gold and always showed me the upmost respect. He was not only a manager to me but was a very good friend. I send my deepest condolences to the family.  Linda I am holding you in my heart and prayers.
