My husband Mike and I first met Terry and Joy in the early days of Wine Kitz, West Hill and we still go there today.  Terry always recognized my voice on the phone and was always happy to see us drop in to place an order, bottle or ask for advice.  We had many fun times and laughs in their back yard at the wine tasting events and also learned a lot about wine.  The wine tasting moved in to the shop and more fun  was had and new friends were made.  They were a great  couple to be around and we  considered them friends.
Terry was a wonderful, friendly man who was always willing to help and advise and he  made Wine Kitz a special place to be. We were so happy we were able to be there for their final send-off into retirement!
Our love and condolences go out to Joy and the family.  Terry's presence is already missed by the many who were lucky enough to know him.

May your memories of Terry warm your hearts and soothe your souls. Terry made a great impression on me through the 15 years or so that I have been enjoying Wine Kitz wines. He made the process of bottling wine a joy and a lovely experience. 
I’ve missed his presence at the shop, but Faiek has maintained the essence of the shop so that it feels like Terry is just around the corner.

My deepest condolences to Joy and Family. I remember meeting Terry  in 1961 when I started working at was then Canada Decal on King Street. What a rickety old building that was but then we moved to a brand new building in Scaborough on Midwest Road. Terry and I worked well together for many years until I left and I  was so delighted to be in contact with him once more when he moved to Wine Art which became Wine Kitz. One of the nicest people we have ever met.  My husband and I would  drop in to buy supplies and occasionally just to chat  and say hello .  Terry always had time to talk and catch up on our lives . He will be terribly missed.

I remember the garden parties at their house, They were the most welcoming hosts. We spend a couple of hours in their backyard celebrating the new wine that were offered at the store. Terry was a Gentle Man who went about his business quietly but efficiently. Faiek has done a great job carrying on with the business since he took it over. I got to know Terry & Joy in their early days at Wine Kitz.  It did not take long to regard them as dear friends. I am deeply saddened to hear of Terry's death.
