I had the good fortune to work with Ann at Valhalla HS. She always had a smile and kind word. She would stop whatever she was doing and help you. She always made people feel good. She always made time for you no matter what she had to get done. God bless. RIP

Ann was a very loving and caring person. I had the pleasure of working with her at Valhalla HS. Ann always had a smile and kind word to say. We connected during a holiday luncheon realizing that my husband and her brother were in their band together. We laughed and shared many beautiful memories and events. We shared our stories about our children, grandchildren and family.
Her baking was extraordinary. She always out did herself , always sharing.
Ann will be missed greatly and be remembered by all those she touched with her kind ways.

My most vivid memories of Anne from our childhood days as well as our more recent interactions at Valhalla High School are that Anne was one of the most pleasant, cheerful and radiant individuals. There is certainly a special place in heaven for Anne. I know she will be greatly missed by her family and friends. You will all be in our prayers. May God bless you all, Lou

To put it simply, Ann was one of the nicest people I’ve ever known. Whenever we got together it was wonderful food, great conversations, and lots and lots of laughs. I have such great memories of vacationing together with friends, going out to dinner, talking on the phone, and sitting on her deck eating apps/drinking while watching a beautiful sunset. I will treasure those memories forever.

I am lucky to have shared a friendship with Ann for 59 years. Oh the stories we could tell of the two of us growing up! There was never a dull moment when the two of us got together. A little story that comes to mind was the day of my 16th birthday. as we sat down at the table to have birthday cake with my parents and sister, Ann felt the celebration was not complete unless we had birthday hats. the next thing we new. she was removing the paper coverings from the record albums we had and we all wore makeshift birthday hats. We laughed so hard we cried. Ann always had the gift to make me smile and laugh out loud, but she was always there to listen to a problem and to give advice as well. We could talk for hours about nothing special or the most important events of our lives. She was truly the best present a friend could have. Ann was always happy to talk about her family, Doug, Steve, Amy, Lindsay, Eric and especially little Grace and James. As you know, Ann loved beach life. in the early hours just before Ann passed, I took a walk on the beach to say goodbye to the beach on her behalf. That day, the ocean water was calm and peaceful. Ann is now at peace. The beach was beautiful. Ann was beautiful, both inside and out throughout her life. She was truly a special person.

I remember going into Ann's office and laughing so hard with her we both teared up. I also remember her support when I was going through a very difficult time.

Ann was a blessing at work
