

Ann Marie pursued a lifelong passion for mathematics, earning a Master of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, IN. She later earned a Sixth Year Degree in School Administration from Fairfield University in Fairfield, CT. A tireless teacher, she also served in multiple leadership positions with the Greenwich and Connecticut Educators Associations. Her academic and professional achievements reflect her unending dedication to higher learning.
She is remembered by her beloved godson, Prof. Andrew R. Novo, her treasured friend, Celia P. Novo, her brother, Martin J. Hannon, extended family, and friends. She lovingly forged and nurtured many caring relationships through her boundless generosity, infinite kindness, and unconditional support.
A woman of deep, unwavering faith, she was a powerful example of strength, grace, and resilience as she met life’s many challenges, head-on, in true Ann Marie Style.
To her last breath, Ann Marie lived her life grounded in her uncompromising, independent New England Yankee spirit.
May her memory bring comfort to those who mourn this tremendous and painful loss.
We pray that her soul finds comfort in the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ.
