Barbara was married to Frank Mohalley on April 20,1985 for 36 years.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Frank, her daughter Kathy, and her husband, Cory, their sons Johnny and Joey and wife Tricia, and great-grandchildren, Kasey and Bryan, and Frank’s son, William and daughter, Eileen, and their combined 6 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren, and other family and friends.
Barbara is preceded in death by her sister, Rosemary.
Barbara was born in The Bronx on July 22, 1927. She graduated from Walton High School.
Barbara worked as the Assistant to the Financial Development Officer for the East Bronx YMCA for four year. She enjoyed reading, writing, and cooking. She was very actively involved as Newsletter Editor in Learning in Retirement at Iona College – LIRIC.
Visitation will be held at 2 to 6 pm on Wednesday, May 26th at the Edwin L. Bennett Funeral Home. Burial will be at 10 am on Thursday, May 27th at Woodlawn Cemetery in The Bronx.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations should be given to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, or the Salvation Army, in Barbara’s memory.
