Dear Uncle Bruce,
What you leave behind is not what is engraved in stone monuments but the beautiful memories and your kindness that is woven into the hearts of all that knew you.
You will be dearly missed.

Still can’t believe we won’t see your smile or feel your care again. But you are in a better place Uncle... and with Mom and Dad there. Here , we can hear that laughter we grew up with...the parties, the bingo, the Christmas lunches, the fun of being together ... of sharing those beautiful moments together. We cherish those memories you have left us with here - a beautiful home you built and your family you nurtured so lovingly. We will miss you so much Uncle Bruce - a big void which can never be filled. Bless us so we can be as kind and caring as you.

Among the few things i took with me when i left Calcutta in 1990 are the dear forever warm and cherished memories of the few occasions i had the blessing , the fortunate moments spent with Uncle Bruce and his family, his wonderful cooking , his warmth of heart and gaze , the knowing understanding look in his eye . Cherishing those memories ! i always had hoped some day to perhaps meet again . Far i maybe but i shall always look to the sky and speak my heart and mind to You .i know You will be watching and listening. My sincere condolences and warmest hugs to the family .

At the gate, watching us play.
Are my Childhood memories of Uncle Bruce,
A smile on his face, and words, that would bring a laugh to our hearts.
You will be missed by all, and never forgotten.

Uncle Bruce, still it is hard to believe that you left.
Remember your warm smile, nice mustache and aroma of freshly brewed morning coffee..
I wanted to take you and Aunty Joscelyn for nice Korean BBQ in May…
Maybe next time..
I am truly blessed and honored to meet you in my life, and I will miss you a lot!
My thoughts and prayers are with the whole family.
Rest in peace, uncle.

Gone from us that smiling face
The cheerful pleasant ways
The Heart that won so many friends
In bygone, happy days

A life made beautiful by kindly deeds
A helping hand for other needs
To a beautiful life... ...
Comes a happy End
He died as he lived...
Everyone's Friend...

It's really sad to say a Good bye to u...Bruce
I still have the happy memories of the good old days...the cricket matches in the compound...the famous relishing black ur famous teapot...
The humerus trips to the local market...Gorabazar..
The Christmases together....
Memories that will last for a life time..
Rest in loving brother..
God Bless U always...
Till we meet again....

Gods blessings to u Jos and the children at this moment of grief....
U all will always be in our thoughts ...prayers....memories..

Uncle Bruce always had a smile on his face and kind words when we walked through the door on many visits to see Lloyd and Leroy . He has left us too early , but his legacy is a beautiful family and lots of shared love . Giving you all lots of courage and strength in the coming days and weeks - we will all miss him greatly . Ever since our short but unforgettable stay at your home, I had so much looked forward to seeing him again. To me, Uncle Bruce was New York, Remembering his kindness, the delicious food , the breakfast banquets we woke up to, the stories he regaled us with, the romantic and inspirational saga of your young love, comradely marriage across two continents, the beautiful house he built for you, the pagoda he designed, the paradise garden, the home he looked after. My heart goes out to the family. He made us all richer and he will remain in our hearts and memories.
