
Carol Devine-Molin, 57, of Hartsdale passed away on April 5, 2012. Born in Queens, New York on May 13, 1954, she was the daughter of Leo T. and Nancy Devine. Carol attended Mary Louis Academy in Queens and graduated from Pearl River High School in 1972. She received her bachelor’s degree from McGill University in Montreal and her master’s degree from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in Manhattan. Carol worked for Westchester County in White Plains as a probation supervisor.
Always active in politics, Carol participated in many campaigns and hosted a local television show “On The Right Side” in which she interviewed politicians and community leaders. She enjoyed her work, writing and shopping.
Carol was a caring daughter, sister and aunt who took great joy spending time with her family. Family and friends who shared time with Carol are now left with many fond memories of her passion for life. Her family wishes to thank her friends at the Westchester County Probation Department for their support and kindness.
Carol will be missed by all who knew her and were touched by her engaging personality. She was predeceased by her beloved father Leo T. Devine and survived by her mother Nancy, and sisters Mary Devine, Grace McHugh and husband Frank and brother Leo M. Devine and wife Martha. Nieces and nephews include: Leroy, Jason and Ann Marie Little; Ryan, Justin and Shannon McHugh and Alyssa, Leo T., Jenna and Jack Devine.
A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. on April 11 at Scared Heart Church in Hartsdale.
