Carol Ann Hegarty passed away on January 16, 2013 at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla NY. She was 69 years old. Carol was born on December 25, 1943 in the Bronx N.Y. to Richard and Elizabeth Meyer Masterson. Mrs. Hegarty was a Teacher’s Aid for the Greenacres Grammar School in Scarsdale NY for over twenty years. She retired from the Scarsdale Public School system in 2009. Carol is survived by her husband John P. Hegarty and her two sons John and Christopher Hegarty. Carol is the sister of Patricia and Donald Masterson. She is predeceased by her brother Robert Masterson. Mass of Christian Burial 10AM Tuesday January 22, 2013 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church Scarsdale. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
