Caterina DePippo

Caterina DePippo 88,a longtime resident of Eastchester, passed away on April 18, 2016 at Lawrence Hospital in Bronxville. Caterina was born on August 17, 1927 in San Sossio Baronia Italy to Enrico and Maria Antonia Frano Romeo. Caterina came to the United States in 1948 and married her late husband Alfonso that same year on October 31. Caterina is the loving mother of Rosetta (Kevin) McArdle, Marie, Henry, and Alfonso (Kathy) DePippo, the late Joseph A. DePippo and her daughter in law Judy. Caterina is survived by her 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren and is predeceased by her grandson Nicholas DePippo. Caterina also leaves behind her sisters Elvira Castellano and Felicia Capodilupo.

Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday April 21, 2016 at Assumption Church in Tuckahoe at 9:30AM. Visitation will be held on Wednesday April 20, 2016 from 3-8PM. Interment Holy Mount Cemetery Eastchester. In lieu of flowers friends who wish may contribute to PO Joseph A. DePippo Memorial Scholarship Fund 40 Mill Road Eastchester NY 10709 or to the Nicholas DePippo Athletic Scholarship: the donation should be made payable to Eastchester School District mailed to 2 Stewart Place Eastchester NY 10709 adding Nicholas DePippo Scholarship to the memo.
