Catherine A. Senno

Catherine’s journey to the Kingdom of Heaven began earlier this week. Although her time here on this earth seemed short, she led a full life enjoying many different pastimes. Her love of gardening, cycling, playing the piano, driving her Cadillac and basking in the sun are just some of the many examples of her zest for living! Perhaps her most precious attribute was her generosity and her willingness to help others whether they were friends forever or someone she just met! Her canine companions, especially her dog Coco, brought her much joy and unconditional love!

Cathy’s loving nature made her a favorite with children, especially amongst her nieces and nephews. She always remembered their birthdays and showered them with gifts on holidays and celebrated their special accomplishments! She loved them dearly and they sorely miss her presence!

Cathy was a lifelong resident of Eastchester, NY and a graduate of Immaculate Heart of Mary school in Scarsdale, Eastchester High school and continued her education at Iona College in New Rochelle, NY. She dedicated her life to her work as an Asset Manager at NCR for many years.

Cathy was born on November 11, 1963 in Bronxville NY and is the daughter of Michael Senno and Joan Patricia Adams Senno. She had 6 siblings: Robert Senno, Nancy Senno James, Donald Senno, Paul Senno, Peter Senno and Margaret Senno Lazzari. She was predeceased by her parents and her brother Robert. She leaves behind her nephews and nieces: Sean, Jake, Justin, Kerri, Eddie, Lauren and Marianna. Her many brothers in laws, sisters in laws and grandnephews/nieces are deeply saddened by her absence.

We will honor Cathy’s life on Tuesday April 18 2017 at Edwin L. Bennett Funeral Home from 4PM-8PM at 824 Scarsdale Avenue in Scarsdale NY followed by a Mass of Christian burial at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church 8 Carmen road in Scarsdale NY on Wednesday April 19 at 10AM.
