Clifford was married to Florence on August 5, 1967; they were married 51 years.
Clifford is survived by his daughter Alison Genez and son in law Carl Abrahamson.
Clifford is preceded in death by his wife Florence, uncle Edward Julian, mother Helen Julian, father Charles Genez and many close friends.
Clifford was born in the Bronx on October 1, 1927. He graduated from Dewitt Clinton High School, served in the Army with Headquarters Company 7740th Special Service Battalion in Germany. After service Clifford continued on in his education to receive a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from SUNY Plattsburgh.
Clifford worked as an administrator for The Telephone Company his entire life and retired from NYNEX. Clifford was also actively involved in The Telephone Pioneers of America, a Non-Profit Charitable Organization that does outreach in the community. He enjoyed gardening, golf, playing the piano, building furniture and the company of his adopted dogs and cats.
A gathering to celebrate the life of Clifford A. Genez will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to The Putnam Humane Society, in Carmel, New York.
