Diana Sgueglia

On Saturday August 3, 2024, Diana Sgueglia, passed away at the age of 84 years old surrounded by her loving family. Diana was predeceased by her loving husband Anthony, her daughter Dana Paternostro, her great granddaughter Mia Lorenzo, and her son in law Alex Bonci.

She is survived by her loving daughters Sue (Alex Bonci), Sandra (David Arena), Lorraine (Christopher LiCursi), and Karen (David Mensi). She is also survived by her son in law Enzo Paternostro (Jennifer).

Diana was the amazing and proud grandmother of Joseph Lorenzo (Marisa), Jaime O’Hanlon (Michael), Jennifer King (Stephen), John Arena (Molly), Stephen, Sandra, Nicholas, and Sophia Paternostro, Danielle Guaragna (Matthew), Samantha Solicito (Joseph), and Anthony & Nicole Mensi. Diana was fortunate enough to be loved by her great grandchildren Joseph Luca and Alessia Lorenzo, Harper King, Gia, Alexa and Anthony Guaragna, and Carmine, Antonella, and Adriana Solicito. Diana had numerous nieces and nephews who also loved and adored her. Diana was a gentle and kind soul who ALWAYS put family first.

Diana loved spending the Holidays with her children and grandchildren. One of her grandchildren’s fondest memories of Christmas is participating in Diana’s annual Christmas Pageant and Talent Show, which she produced and directed to the enjoyment of the entire family.

Memorial visitation for Diana will be held Monday August 5th from 4pm – 8pm at the Edwin Bennett Funeral Home, 824 Scarsdale Ave, Scarsdale NY. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday August 6th at 10am at immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 8 Carman Rd, Scarsdale NY immediately followed by Entombment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne NY
