Elizabeth A. Holten

Elizabeth “Betty” A. Holten passed away on January 20, 2011 at her residence in Eastchester. She was 79 Years old. Ms. Holten was born on December 10, 1931 in the Bronx NY to Lawrence B. and Viola Fullam Holten. Elizabeth graduated from Immaculate Heart of Mary Grammar School in Scarsdale and later graduated from Eastchester High School in 1949. Ms. Holten was an administrative Assistant for Exxon in New York City for thirty five years and retired in 1985. Elizabeth was a member of The Equestrian Order of The Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem and a member of St. Veronica Guild at IHM Church.

Elizabeth is survived by her brother Lawrence (Anna) Holten of Eastchester and is predeceased by her sisters Patricia Schneider and Viola Gallagher. She is predeceased by her two nephews Lawrence Gallagher and Lawrence B. Holten Jr. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews. Elizabeth was devoted to her family, friends and her faith. Mass of Christian Burial Monday 10 AM Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Visiting Hours Sunday 2-7PM
