

Erica was born on September 18, 1943 in Ratibor, West Germany and was the daughter of Otto and Maria Ochmann. She had 2 brothers (Werner, Ernst) and 4 sisters (Erna, Heidi, Ursula and Doris). She left Germany in 1962 to travel in Ireland and England and then came to the United States. She had several interests and passions including cooking, tennis and squash, yet cooking was at the top of the list. She taught herself and mastered the intricacies of classic French cuisine and ultimately was reviewed in a full page article in The New York Times.
Erica is survived by her husband, Robert of Scarsdale, NY and her 2 children: Scott (Kathy) of Woodbridge, CT and Clark of Greenwich, CT and 5 grandchildren: Maxwell of Woodbridge, CT, Sam of Woodbridge, CT, Nicholas of Scarsdale, NY, William of Scarsdale, NY and Jack of Scarsdale, NY.
She is predeceased by her parents, Otto and Maria; her sister, Erna; her brother, Ernst and sons Milton and Marc.
A funeral mass for Erica will be held Saturday, February 3, 2024 from 10:15 AM to 11:00 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 8 Carman Rd, Scarsdale, New York 10583.
