Gussie was married to Frank J. Audino on April 24, 1949; they were married 44 years until Frank’s death in 1993.
Gussie is survived by her children, Diane (James) Manza, Carol (Philip) Maldari, Frank (Rosanna) Audino and Linda (David) Fair. She is also survived by her sister, Marie Schrittweiser as well as 11 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Gussie is preceded in death by her parents, Vincent James and Francis Catanzaro.
Gussie was born in Brooklyn, NY on January 3, 1928. She enjoyed cooking and hosting family Sunday dinners.
Visitation for Gussie will be held Wednesday, September 1, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Edwin L. Bennett Funeral Homes, 824 Scarsdale Ave, Scarsdale, NY 10583. A funeral service will occur Thursday, September 2, 2021 at 9:30 AM at Immaculate Conception, 53 Winter Hill Rd, Tuckahoe, NY 10707. A committal service will occur Thursday, September 2, 2021 at Holy Mount Cemetery, Cemetery Lane, Scarsdale, NY 10583.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or to charity of your choice.
