Helen Elizabeth Swift “Betty” was born in October 29, 1931 to John Royal Glassford and Helen Elizabeth Glassford. Raised in Hastings on Hudson she was very proud to be a part of the locally famous Reynolds and Glassford families. Betty spent her single years in Manhattan working for NBC where she met her husband Joseph Patrick Swift. Deceased 2001. For many years they lived in Larchmont. She loved spending her summers at Orienta Beach Club tanning at the beach talking with the ladies and playing bridge .
Betty is survived by her son Patrick, wife Jackie and daughter Jacqueline and four grandchildren Michael, Kali, Grace and Matthew. Service will be private due to the unfortunate climate we all are dealing with . A mass and celebration will happen in the future .
