

Jean Campbell Beach, 96, of Scarsdale, New York, passed away peacefully of natural causes on October 9, 2025. Born on September 3, 1929, in Chuquicamata, Chile, Jean led a life full of warmth, grace, and compassion.
The daughter of Thomas and Carroll Campbell and older sister to the late Thomas Andrew Campbell Jr, Jean grew up surrounded by love and strong family values. She graduated from Scarsdale High School in 1948 and continued her studies at Mount Holyoke College, earning her degree in 1952. In later years, she found great joy serving her community, volunteering at Scarsdale High School’s youth employment office, where she made a difference in many young lives.
In 1964, Jean married the late Arthur T. Beach Jr, and together they built a life enriched by shared adventures, family, and friendship. A devoted mother, she is survived by her son, Arthur T. Beach IV of Scarsdale. Other survivors include sister-in-law Mierya Campbell, Nephews Tom and Don Campbell, Tom's wife Vanessa, and their son Tom Campbell IV.
Jean’s passions included travel, gardening, and the company of her beloved black standard poodles. She will be remembered as a kindhearted soul who always sought to help others, quietly improving the lives of those around her.
Jean was laid to rest at Ferncliff Cemetery in a private service. She will be deeply missed.
