Lorraine M. Cummings

Lorraine M. Cummings of Hudson, FL, formerly of Scarsdale, NY passed away on June 29, 2011. Mrs. Cummings was born on February 21, 1925 in Bronx, NY to Herman and Madge Rayne Schaetzle. She worked at Liberty Mutual in Scarsdale for 20 years as a claims representative and was a parishioner of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church for 60 years. Mrs. Cummings is predeceased by her husband John J. Cummings and her sister Geraline Adamo. She is survived by her children Patricia Boggi and husband Pat of Hudson, Fl; Gerard Cummings and wife Patricia of Ocean City, Md; and Debra Cummings and husband Albert Girardi of Poughquag, NY; her grandchildren Brian Cummings and wife Aimee of Baltimore, Md and Craig Cummings and wife Erin of Baltimore, Md and one great grandchild born on Friday July 1, 2011. Also surviving is her niece Carol (Adamo) Ferrara and several grand nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday 10am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Visiting Hours Tuesday 4-8pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
