Marian E. Kelly

Marian E. Kelly, daughter of Peter and Bridget McGovern of Throgs Neck, NY and recent resident of Yorktown Heights and a longtime resident of Scarsdale, NY, passed away on Tuesday, August 28th at the age of 83.

Loving wife of James C. Kelly (predeceased) of Galway, Ireland and loving and devoted mother to Eileen McGovern (James), Nancy Kelly, Marianne Gray (Bobby), Patricia DiMurro (Greg), Peggy Kelly, Kevin Kelly (Rose), Kathleen Kelly, Brian Kelly (Tricia), Jim Kelly (Tammie).

She was also loving Nana to Dennis, Brendan, Colin, Tara and Bridget McGovern; Leann, Kristen and Matthew Gray; Ceallaigh, Diarmad and Deaglan DiMurro; Connor, Mary Rose, Colleen, Kevin and Sean Kelly; James, Shannon and Shane Kelly; and Madison and Jack Kelly.

Dedicated 45 year parishioner of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Scarsdale and an active member in the St. Veronica’s Guild.

Friends and family can pay their respects at Edwin L. Bennett Funeral Home in Scarsdale on Wednesday and Thursday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm, and at the funeral mass on Friday at 11 am at IHM Church in Scarsdale, with internment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
