Marie D. Bartnett

Marie Bartnett, 95, passed peacefully on Sunday, August 25th, surrounded by her devoted and loving children. Marie's husband, Donald Bartnett, predeceased her in 2016. Marie was a warm, loving, kind and generous woman to her family and friends alike. She will be missed tremendously.

Marie is survived by her four children: Anne Marie Bartnett (Frank Valdez), Janine Bartnett, Karen Bartnett (Walter Straus), and Kevin Bartnett. She loved her grandchildren wholeheartedly: Sam Straus (Jessi Duffner), Alex Straus (Claudia Africano), Ellie Straus, and Tatiana Bartnett.

A visitation for Marie will be held Wednesday, August 28, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Edwin L. Bennett Funeral Home, 824 Scarsdale Ave, Scarsdale, NY 10583. A funeral mass will occur Thursday, August 29, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 5 Strathmore Rd, Scarsdale, NY 10583. A committal service will occur Thursday, August 29, 2024 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 95 Kings Hwy, New Rochelle, NY 10801.
