Fill not your hearts with pain and sorrow, but remember me in every tomorrow. Remember the joy, the laughter, the smile, I've only gone to rest a little while. Although my leaving causes pain and grief, my going has eased my hurt and given me relief. So dry your eyes and remember me, not as I am now, but as I used to be. Because, I will remember you all and look on with a smile. Understand, in your hearts, I've only gone to rest a little while. As long as I have the love of each of you, I can live my life in the hearts of all of you.

From the Class of 1952, Scarsdale High School --
I am sure we will all miss Mary Carol. She had been a real mover and shaker in our class. She organized and ran several of our class reunions and did such a grand job. Our condolences go out to Rollo and her family. You will live forever in your classmates hearts. Thanks for the memories, Mary Carol…

What I remember the most about Mary Carol from the very first day I met her at Hitchcock was her gentile voice, bright smile and willingness to help me with anything I needed. She was always willing to help everyone out. She was a compassionate and inspiring woman. I will always remember her infectious laugh and creativity.

Mary Carol my dear friend and mentor ... I always remember the first day we met. I came for an interview at Hitchcock School. You were on the playground when I was leaving and I said goodbye and how nice it was to meet you. You said how nice it was going to be to work together! I told you, oh I don't know yet because the Director said she still had other people to interview. You laughed that Mary Carol laugh that I came to know so well and said oh I'm sure we will be working together! You were right! I don't think any two teachers had as much fun as we did working together! I am so privileged to have known you and be able to call you and Rolo my friend! You have had such a positive impact on my life. I love you Mary Carol and I will miss you! Until we meet again, I will cherish the memories I have of our friendship!
God Bless you, Love You, your friend Helen
