MaryAnne McKay Potter

MaryAnne McKay Potter passed away on August 30, 2015 at Phelps Memorial Hospital in Tarrytown. She was 79 years old. Mrs. Potter was born on July 3, 1936 in the Bronx, New York to the late James Francis and Kathleen Agnes Carroll McKay. MaryAnne was married to the late James O. Potter on February 4, 1961 at St. John’s Church in Yonkers, NY. Her husband James passed away in 1969. MaryAnne was a registered Nurse in Westchester County and later became a Financial Analyst for Merrill Lynch in New York, N.Y. for many years before her retirement. Mrs. Potter was a member of the Female Accountants Association of Fairfield CT and the Catholic Widows and Widowers of Scarsdale.

She is survived by her daughter Margaret (Peggy) DiCarlo and her husband Fred of Pleasantville and her son James Potter and his wife Lily of New York City as well as her loving grandchildren Jake, AnnMarie, Zoe and Trey. MaryAnne is also survived by her brother Richard McKay and his wife Judy and her sister Kathleen Dunne.

Mass of Christian Burial Thursday September 3, 2015 11AM at Holy Innocents Church in Pleasantville. Visitation Wednesday September 2, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
