Maureen F. Bandelli

After raising her 2 children, Maureen returned to work as an administrative assistant for the Westchester Education Coalition. Her passion for education enabled her to assist in acquiring numerous grants. She relished in being in an environment that advocated education for all.

She adored her Irish heritage, theatre in NYC, the St. Patrick's Day parade, summers at the Jersey Shore and being surrounded by family and friends.

Maureen was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Andrew "Buzz", nephew Brian , and sister Joan. She is survived by daughter Kerry (Chris), son Andrew, brother Brendan (Lyn). Fond Gigi to Claire, John, Denise, Andrew and Sophia. Maureen also leaves behind nephews Charles and Stephen as well as many cousins and friends.

A visitation for Maureen will be held Tuesday, March 15, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Edwin L. Bennett Funeral Homes, 824 Scarsdale Ave, Scarsdale, New York 10583. A funeral mass will occur Wednesday, March 16, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM Our Lady of Fatima Church, 8 Strathmore Rd, Scarsdale, NY. An interment will occur Wednesday, March 16, 2022 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 10 W Stevens Ave, Hawthorne, New York 10532.
