Michael J. Bollella passed away on July 1, 2014 at White Plains Hospital. He was 62 years old. Michael was born on January 2, 1952 in Bronx, New York to Michael A. and Antoinette DiBitetto Bollella. He worked for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey for 25 years. His most recent position there was Security Supervisor for John F. Kennedy Airport. Mr. Bollella also proudly served in the Coast Guard Reserves from the late 1980’s to the early 1990’s.
Michael is survived by his loving Mother Antoinette and his two children, Christine Ortiz and Michael V. Bollella. He is also survived by his cherished grandson, Gabriel Ortiz. Michael is the brother of Annette Daly and Linda Bimonte. Also surviving is Marguerite C. Bollella.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2014, 10 AM, at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Scarsdale, NY. Interment is at Ferncliff Cemetery, Hartsdale, NY. Visitation hours are Tuesday, July 8th 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM.
