Nancy Vaccaro

Nancy Vaccaro passed away on October 16th, 2017 at age 91. She died peacefully at her home of 53 years. Nancy was born in the Bronx and moved to Scarsdale in 1964 with her first husband Frank Vitagliano. Several years after Frank's passing, Nancy remarried Daniel Vaccaro also of Scarsdale. Nancy worked 35 years at the Scarsdale Village Hall where she had many friends who enjoyed her fun loving and good spirited personality. She was quite the accomplished woman working a full-time job, being a wonderful wife and loving mother to 2 children and a stepson, caring for her elderly mother and living life to its fullest. Nancy made a difference in the life of every person she met and was considered a second mother by many friends. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday Oct. 21st at 10 AM at The Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 8 Carman Road, Scarsdale NY. Visitation will follow on the same day from 3PM to 7PM at the The Edwin L Benett Funeral Home, 824 Scarsdale Avenue, Scarsdale NY.
