OBITUARY

Paolo Davino

April 9, 1946August 28, 2020

Fill not your hearts with pain and sorrow, but remember me in every tomorrow. Remember the joy, the laughter, the smile, I've only gone to rest a little while. Although my leaving causes pain and grief, my going has eased my hurt and given me relief. So dry your eyes and remember me, not as I am now, but as I used to be. Because, I will remember you all and look on with a smile. Understand, in your hearts, I've only gone to rest a little while. As long as I have the love of each of you, I can live my life in the hearts of all of you.

Paolo,

You were always so good to my father. And in turn to my family. As the only Italian men left on Boston Road, you, Frank, and my pops held it down and were respected for minding your business and doing right by everyone. Those kids grew up to be adults and remember you all as staples in the Hillside Community.

May god bless your family and may they find comfort in knowing you are with God. Long live Jerryโ€™s.

I will miss Paul. We all know Paul was the most talkative, but he would always greet me Hey Debbie. And then we would have a little conversation afterwards. Frank and Paul have cooked for most of us for over 50 years. I will miss him and I am sorry I missed the celebration yesterday.
Paul is definitely from Boston Road.
Boston Road stand up for Paul!!!
Rest In Peace๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™

Our family knew (Pauly) over 50yrs. I would love seeing that look he had. He never spoke a word, one day I said " Pauly you never speak"and he answered " What is there's to say" and gave me the biggest smile. We start laughing and I took my slice and left. Frank and Paul knew your name and was glad you came. When you had no money they would say " hi the next time" and give you the slice. All my secret is kept with Paul and Frank. They are my family and we cry and we have laugh together. My love and sorrow goes out to the family that we all love. R.I.P. Paul and do talk to GOD. Love Diane Roberts

Growing up in the neighborhood my family rarely ate take out due to our religion. But whenever we did it was pizza. I remember over the years you would always cut the slices into "baby slices" as you used to call it. I did that mostly so I could share with my friends but also because I could take my time eating. You would always say "take it easy" , always remaining calm and rarely ever raised your voice. Been missing you for some time now, Frank would always say your ok, I guess looking back that's the type of loyalty you guys had with each other. S.I.P big guy, may your family stay strong during this difficult time.
